Container Atlas

I would be cool to build a house offsite as giant boxes, then to slot it all together like lego.
Time to dust off the plasma cutter!

Roy Cross

Roy Cross's dramatic illustrations for Airfix have ignited the imagination of young boys for decades.
More than often the box visuals where more exciting than the plastic model kit inside.
On a side note when I was younger we often sail past a Sunderland flying boat moored on the Medway river, looking up in awe at this amazing craft.

Chocolate Straws

The pack and the straws look pretty cool, shame they taste a bit funky to suck on

Guaranteed Mothproof

Its hard to find nice woollen blankets that have survived moth attacks, escaped the dump
and the old ladies at Vinnies.

Its really a VW

It really is, a shared engine and a whole heap of VW parts are beneath
the slight odd looking exterior.
The RS is fun to drive and well put together but as expensive as VW polo GTI
or second hand GTI, so why not drive a golf?

Classic Churchills

Awesome 1950s Volt rubber swim fins made by Owen Churchill.
This style of fins is still used today which is pretty amazing. Cool box graphics too.

Mmm Beer

The legendary Duff beer, made famous as a fictional beverage in the Simpsons.
Cult status packaging but a pretty average pilsner inside.

London Dry

A really nice piece of glass, that has strong London character to it
An odd short neck label though?!

Foam, Blades & Heat

Its interesting to see a bodyboard cut and shaped from a block of foam.
A process thats pretty brutal at times considering the precision of the finished product.
Manta bodyboards head shaper Fish hard at work.

Overcomplicated or what

If this is the instructions just for unpacking the box it doesn't bode well!

Release the Kraken

I do like the giant octopus, the victoriana label, the jug style bottle and the name
but maybe its just a little too hipster.
The rum is definitely too strong on caramel and vanilla flavouring. Designed by Stranger&Stranger

Le boogie

Silver foil, dark moody image, clean and uncluttered, whats not to love about Le Boogie.
One of the few surf publications pulling out all the stops

Billy Tea

Take a detour of the highway and you can stumble across some great pieces
that have managed to survive years neglect and the harsh Australian sun.

End of a era

As 2012 has come to an end so has Movement magazine.
It will be a hard act to follow, this publication has done a lot for Bodyboarding. Made others sit and look hard at the sport as it raised the bar of quality, style and sporting performance
of Bodyboarding across the globe.

Twist and Go into 2013

I think quite a few these will be consumed today looking by the numbers of post new years eve revelers wandering the streets this morning

Love it or Hate it
